The refractory period is a period after orgasm when a man doesn’t feel a sexual desire to want to have sex again.

A man will last a lot longer when he decides to go for a second round of sex immediately after orgasm or immediately after the refractory period.
The release of semen makes the penis numb to sexual stimulation and ensures that a man doesn’t climax anytime soon during the second round of sex.
It will take a man longer to ejaculate and orgasm again a second time making him last much longer the second time.
This is good news for men or guys who are sensitive to coming too fast during sex and are looking to last longer… they can use the refractory period to their advantage – go for a second round of sex immediately after ejaculating.
